FRIDAY FAVS (v.2)

It’s SPRING BREAK Friday and that is a reason to celebrate! 🙌🏼 No carline for 10 days…and all the moms say amen!!! 😂

But, in all seriousness it’s the first day of Spring Break for the girls and we are so excited for some time off from school to rest, have fun and just be. I swear every year by the time we get to Spring Break, we are limping along and need some time to rest to finish out the school year. Since we are back in Florida we are adjusting to Spring Break a little earlier than we are used to and school ends 3.5 weeks earlier too and we are here.for.it!!!

Anyways, today we are going to head to the beach before a cool front and rain comes across Florida (LOL, okay I recognize my northern friends are getting snow BUT…when its been nearly 90, 60 degree weather feels like its going to snow 😂) and this weekend we have plans with friends to kick off Spring Break! But, before we get started lets look at some favorites from the week.

I am still reminiscing about our weekend last weekend in Tampa for my birthday! It was so nice to have a weekend just the 2 of us where we could be husband and wife and not mom and dad. 10/10 highly recommend this for all couples especially when you have kids. It is so easy to get caught up in the day to day that you can you forget to have fun and explore together.

We had the best time playing tourist just 45 minutes from home and did a lot of dreaming together about the future.

Before we took off for the weekend (the girls to Oma and Gepa’s and Joe and I to Tampa….Cam was working all weekend) I grabbed these 2 from school early and we hit PDQ to support our cheer squad! We partnered with our local PDQ for a fundraiser and it was a fun treat to grab them early and have lunch together while supporting our squad. I love these 2 and the joy they bring to my life so much!

Looking at this picture is has me thinking a lot about how I was sad as they started to get older, I missed having babies and toddlers but they are at the best ages (8 and 10)…we have the best conversations and little adventures together and doing little things like this is so.much.easier!

Speaking of the local market…the last 2 weekends in March we are taking part in the local UTC Spring Indie Market and we cannot wait! I have been busy behind the scenes prepping for it all and when I printed out the tags for market I did have a HOLY CRAP moment holding it all! 🤪

Holding these tags made it all real for me….we are going to market ya’ll and if you are local you can shop in person so many great items! It is going to be a blast….and require lots of coffee! LOL
