Friday Favorites (6.21.24)

Happy Friday friends! Today, I’m linking up with Andrea and Erika for another edition of Friday Favorites (whew, it has been a while since I have linked up with Friday Favs but I am so happy to be back) and wishing you a wonderful weekend ahead!

Last night I had a pop up and got home pretty late so this morning I slept in a bit (hello summer, I love you and the ability to sleep in a bit when I feel like my body needs it), I am drinking my coffee in bed watching Suits while writing this blog post. Feels like the perfect, slow start to our weekend and just what my mind and body need. I hope however you are starting your weekend, you are squeezing in some rest amongst the to do’s and fun you have planned.

Anyways, let’s get started with this week’s favs!

First up, this sourdough starter. If you have been here for a while, you know that I started learning how to make sourdough last summer and fell in love. I usually make 2 loaves a week but I was having trouble with Florida humidity and my blasting AC (it has been so freaking hot in FL this year) not letting my bread be consistent. It wasn’t rising the same each time (or sometimes at all) and my starter was dying because of it all.

I ended up purchasing a new starter from Acts of Sourdough and purchasing this warmer from Sourhouse for a bit of a fresh start with my baking and it has been my favorite because it has done wonders for my sourdough! If you have been struggling with your sourdough or want to start, I can’t recommend these enough.

I have also shared HERE and HERE on my blog all of my favorite sourdough supplies if you are in the market.

I love a good designer piece and often times find myself swooning over the newest designer pieces but, I don’t always want to invest in them if I am being honest. I love mixing high and low pieces and when I do choose to splurge, I love the pieces even more because I don’t do it all the time.

Recently, I have been on the hunt for some designer inspired pieces for my closet so I started a new series on the blog called Save or Splurge. This week I shared Nordstrom versus Target for some great pieces at any price point.

I shared that blog post HERE and all the pieces on my LTK page HERE.

Another favorite on the blog this week is this post I shared earlier this week, 5 things to do when you feel stressed.

I think I have mentioned before but as someone who is multi-passionate, I sometimes struggle with what to share here on the blog. Mostly because I want to share all the things and I get this pause on the keyboard because I don’t want it to feel all over the place. But, a favorite this week has been just leaning into whatever my heart wants to share and this one has been a favorite.

At the core of everything I want to do and share and focus on, helping women create fulfilling, happy lives that they wake up excited for everyday. I want women to feel healthy and happy from the inside to the outside and I am finding so much freedom in just sharing my heart and what I feel led to share.

Another favorite is hopping back on the low-tox train. I have used Young Living and these products for the last few years but truthfully, the last 6 months as I was trying to use my stock that I had built up I kind of fell off the wagon and I can feel it in my mind and body. This week have our diffusers going and I am placing a big order and it has been a favorite.

I shared earlier this week so of my favorite products and uses for self care and getting back into this routine has been a favorite for our entire house! You can read that blog post HERE.

Another favorite this week has been Shop Rooted and Free’s final few sale, 75+ items are 40% off through the end of today as we clear inventory and get ready for new stuff coming!

If you are looking for a deal on some of our best selling items, shop our sale and take advantage of products prices as low as $4!

We also launched new arrivals this week for all of our pop culture and beauty fans! These fun greeting cards always sell so well for us at our pop ups (stickers too) so we launched a bunch of new ones you can find HERE.

Saving the best for last, Justin Timberlake!!!! Last Friday Joe and I went on a date night to Tampa and saw Justin Timberlake on tour. I bought these tickets months ago and I have been counting down the days to the concert. If you are new here, I am a huge JT fan, I even launched my boutique on his birthday to celebrate it (lol) so I was stoked.

We splurged on tickets and we were 7 rows back from center stage and to say we had the time of our lives would be an understatement. It was another amazing concert in the books and even though he has made a pretty bad decision since then that isn’t my favorite I am excited to be going back in November with a friend.

Alright friends, this is all I have for today, I hope you have a great weekend and I will see you back in the blog world next week!
