5 RECENT OOTD’S
Happy Monday friends!
Paisley is home sick today with strep, her 4th time having strep this school year. I am thinking it is time to start considering getting her tonsils out since she has had it so often! I swear my kids have been so sick this school year at their new school and no matter what I do at home, their immune system is not jiving with the germs at school.
Anyways, I thought today to kick off our week I would share 5 recent OOTD’s with you! I mentioned on IG that I wanted to make more of an effort to get dressed everyday because I can get into a rut working from home and just stay in workout clothes too often even though I have a closet full of cute clothes.
So here we go! Also, just a heads up, most of this stuff is old stuff that has been in my closet for years. As we are prepping to move, I have tried to be intentional about wearing some older stuff in closet so I can make a decision to keep or donate.
Airport selfie on the way to Boston. It was 3am and I was so exhausted, Lol. This sweater is old from Nordstrom rack but one of my favs because of the color and how cozy it is and the jeans are from Target. I am a huge Target lover when it comes to jeans because I love the price point…the reality is I live in Florida and don’t wear jeans often enough to splurge on them.
Same jeans, new sweater for my pop up a couple weeks ago. It was a little chilly so I busted out the boots and this old sweater from Target. I love the rust color and design with cream.
The weather has started to really warm up but last Monday we had a random cool day so I took the chance to grab some more older stuff that I have been hanging onto.
Velvet Cardigan is old Target and I just paired it with a plain black tee and combat boots. The joggers are sold out Shop Rooted and Free and some of my favs because of how comfy they are. This was a great mom on the go outfit and a reminder that my porch needs a good cleaning for spring, LOL.
Shop Rooted and Free new arrivals and I fell in love with this skirt so much! It reminds me of one I loved from Anthro that sold out and you better believe you will see this on repeat all spring long!
And today’s reality….staying in my workout clothes, LOL.
Dirty mirror.
Sick kid.
Spent my morning rescheduling appointments I had for today.
Trying not to skip my Monday workout.
All the things and no time to do much else and that is a okay!
This exercise of getting intentionally dressed more has helped me so much. I feel more motivated when I am fully dressed and also, extend myself grace when days like today happen. It has also been such a good reminder for me to wear what is in my closet and bring in new pieces that work with what I already have so that I don’t have a closet full of clothes I don’t wear.
I hope this inspires you to get dressed and to wear what you already own…sometimes when you put on something older you remember how much you love it or, its time to donate it!
I’m off to tackle my to do list and take care of Pais. Hope everyone has a great day!
