WEEKEND HAPPIES
Hey hey friends!
Anyone else feeling the case of the Monday’s hard core today? I cannot shake the fatigue and Monday blah today so I am going to keep this short and sweet and share a few happy moments from our busy but fun weekend!
Also, I realized in looking at my photos that I have to get my blogger hat back on and start documenting more! LOL.
Friday night we joined some friends and went to the local AAA baseball game. It was a beautiful night and we had so much fun! The girls got some freebies, had fun with their friends and we got to watch a live sporting event which we love (and hang with our friends too) so it was a win all around!
Highly recommend looking up something like this in your area…it was great, affordable family fun.
On Saturday I participated in a local market pop-up shop with Shop Rooted and Free on LWR Main Street and had the best time! It was so fun to connect with women in my local community as well as other women in business!
Pop Ups are quickly becoming my favorite thing. They are a ton of work prepping, setting up, tearing down, etc but I love it so much and it makes me really excited for the future of Shop Rooted and Free and the ideas that God has given me for this boutique and business of mine. I can’t wait to see what doors keep opening for me as I follow this dream!
On Easter Sunday we opened baskets and headed to church! The Easter service was beautiful from start to finish.
Usually, the girls go into kids ministry but they asked to accompany us into “big” church for Easter so it was extra special getting to have them with us in church and worship alongside of them. I love watching their faith continue to grow, have them ask questions to seek better understanding and watch them praise God!
We snapped a few pictures after church and I just love that the girls wanted to wear matching outfits but that they each put their own little spin on it. Paisley still wearing the headbands (love!) and Savannah typing a black belt around her waist.
Their friendship is just the sweetest and I cherish these moments and time that they are so close. My biggest prayer is that they will always be each others best friend!
And, don’t you love when a stranger offers to take your picture? And isn’t it the worst when you look at them and cringe? Haha. Enter this Easter photo. My dress needed adjusting after bending down taking pictures of the girls and Paisley is basically standing in front of Savannah. Lol. You win some and you lose some.
Also, no one quite prepares you for your kids getting older and missing holidays and family pictures. Cam worked from 8 am - 1:30 pm on Easter Sunday so he missed church and the family picture. I tried to take one later in the day but he was not having it. Lol. The picture just looks incomplete to me, my Mama heart does not like that.
After church we went down to my in-laws, went swimming had dinner and dessert and came back home to get ready for the week ahead!
It was a great weekend and a great Easter!
