Meal Plan Monday (On A Tuesday) 10.15.24
Well friends, we are desperately trying to find normal around here after 2 weeks of back to back hurricanes in our area.
I feel so thankful that we didn’t sustain any major damage to our property during either storm but I would be lying if I said that things felt normal. The kids just went back to school today after being out all last week and a few days the week before we so we have been out of sorts, off our routine and truthfully just feeling like we are surviving the days instead of thriving.
And now lucky me, I somehow caught a cold to end what has already been a crazy few weeks.
Stores around here are struggling with their food supply so yesterday the girls and I ran a few errands and grabbed some meals that could gather leftovers in case we can’t get full groceries this week. We ended up getting the last load of bread they had (I am feeding my sourdough now so I can bake bread for us) and the meat was hard to find but we did find what we were looking for.
Even though life feels a like wonky this week, I am trying to get back into a routine and schedule so I wanted to share our weekly meal plan like I usually do on Monday’s! I hope that this serves as some inspiration to eat at home, slow down and enjoy and family meal and use real, easy ingredients that are easy to find to care for your family through meal planning and dinners.
