Meal Plan Monday (9.2)

Happy Tuesday friends! I hope you had a great long Labor Day weekend enjoying your friends, family and time to yourself too!

We had a great weekend mixed with downtime to rest and relax and lots of fun between cheer, a date for Joe and I (we finally saw It Ends With Us) and then a boat day for the holiday. The girls were feeling a little under the weather so we did cancel some of our plans but despite that we still had a wonderful long weekend together and we are excited to hit the week running with school, work and cheer.

As always, I am sharing my Monday Meal Plan (on a Tuesday!) with you and I will link to the recipes that I am using (if any) below. I hope that these meal plans inspire you to plan a little bit ahead to help make your days and weeks a little smoother (and your grocery bill a little lower!).

Monday - Fish Tacos (Trader Joes)

Thursday - Hashbrown Breakfast Casserole

This is a short week because of the holiday so we are keeping it simple with meals for the week and working smart and not harder meaning the few nights I am cooking I am cooking enough for leftovers the next day. We have family coming in this weekend for the Buccaneers/Commanders NFL kick off so we know we will be eating out a lot which is another reason we kept it simple and are using our leftovers before they arrive.

Don’t forget…when you meal plan, think about your week ahead and what is on the calendar so you aren’t spending money and planning for meals you won’t be home for.
