Let’s Look Link Up: Medicine Cabinets

Happy Wednesday friends!

Today I am coming at ya with another link up and a peek at the little things in life with Shay and Erika for Let’s Look! This a fun little monthly link up where we take a “peek behind the curtain and share a little something random in our lives. It’s just fun and silly and I always walk away with a few tips and tricks from reading other peoples posts!

So, without further ado (uh, rambling, lol) let’s look at our……medicine cabinets!

Now I will be the first to admit that I laughed at this prompt. It’s so random and funny to me but also intrigued me too! And, it intrigued because I don’t have a medicine cabinet and in Florida in all the homes we looked at it in the home buying process, there wasn’t a medicine cabinet to be found. And I never thought of it until now. Lol.

Because we don’t have a medicine cabinet we have stuff stored in different places and honestly because it is a rental, it isn’t ideal. Actually, I hate it all but it’s been “working” and no sense in changing it now when we are moving soon. Once we are in the new house, I will have a better system but for now, this is the mess we are working with.

Under the primary bathroom sink we have 3 bins that store different things. This is overstock of stuff, extra thermometers, cough drops, nasal rinse…stuff that is bulky and not used often. Basically, I don’t want to look in these bins unless I have to because they drive me crazy 🤪 But, they work for now and store all the stuff we don’t need to grab for unless someone is really sick.

Also in the bathroom on the counter I have my supplements. On Sunday’s I put them all in this little organizer so can easily and quickly take my AM/PM supplements and medication. All my larger bottles are stored and I bring them out weekly to reset the organizer. This helps keep the clutter off my counter but leaves them in eye sight so I don’t forget to take them

In the pantry I keep our collagen, protein, Liquid IV…usually we are putting these in smoothies so it just makes sense to have them in the pantry so they are easy to grab when we are pulling out the other smoothie ingredients.

Also in the pantry I keep all the stuff we use weekly and/or daily (or need to grab quickly). This the kids probiotics, allergy medicine, Tylenol, bandaids, nasal spray (Paisley gets a lot of nose bleeds), etc. Keeping it in the pantry makes it easy to grab and accessible and is a reminder every morning as we are packing lunches that the kids need to take their supplements and allergy meds.

Last but definitely not least is our diffusers and oils. We have one in every room, a diffuser with a little jar of oils next to it. We diffuse and use oils everyday to help support our health so I had to mention it here. This is our first line of defense, before we need medicine. Every morning this is the first diffuser to go on in because its in our kitchen which is the before school hub!

So, that’s it. Our makeshift medicine cabinet and rhythms and while not cute, its functional and works for us!

I can’t wait to see what you do and what tips/tricks you have!
