Cranberry Mocktail Mule

In February of 2024 I stopped drinking to try to reduce the inflammation in my body and cut out added sugars. As you guys know, I have been having many health issues and because of them I am making some lifestyle changes to help me feel and get better.

One of the first things that I have done is giving up alcohol and it has been way easier than you think! Now, I am just a social drinker — if we are out with friends, out to dinner, on vacation, etc…I didn’t drink often but as our schedules got busier I found myself more social than ever and with that came drinking at pretty much every event. Even one cocktail would make me feel so inflamed and swollen and honestly one day I just had enough and I haven’t had a drink since. It’s been 4 months and I don’t miss it at all and it’s definitely helping my physical health symptoms.

One thing that has made it an easy transition?

Mocktails….

Especially in social settings when you want to have the fun drink but don’t want to actually drink mocktails have been my go to. It is fun to see many places offering a menu of mocktails but, I have also found that you can take your favorite drink and just omit the alcohol and it tastes great, actually it tastes better in my opinion.

I love a moscow mule with a splash of cranberry so I wanted to share my easy recipe today! I hesitate even calling it a recipe it’s that easy! For me, the key is the copper cup to make it feel fun!

Cranberry Mocktail Mule //

- Chilled Copper Cup (I put it in the freezer overnight)
- Ice (nugget is the best in my opinion bit any ice will do)
- Ginger Beer (I used original but, they have flavored too and I bet they are great)
- Cranberry juice (pure is the best)
- Fresh limes (sliced, squeezed and added to the drink)

Combine by pouring all ingredients into the copper cup and enjoy!
