BINGE WORTHY TV SHOWS

Hey friends! Happy Tuesday!

Today, I have another old school blog post for you because, well you know how much I love those. LOL.

I really do miss the old blogging days where bloggers just talked about random stuff they love and do and not everything was monetized. Yep, I said it. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I know so many others are also missing that too so I am determined to mix that into my blogging schedule throughout the year. Yes, I love a good Amazon round up and I love a good link and supporting women monetizing their sites, but I also really love just getting random peaks into other peoples lives (it’s why I love reality tv so much LOL) and finally community in the likeness of the little things.

So, while yes I will have posts that are meatier in content and I will have posts that link stuff, I will also have posts of nothingness that we all crave. And today, that is what I have.

Ya’ll I love reading and traveling and being on the go but I also love curling up on my bed with my cozy blanket and binge watching a tv show!

Two shows that I could have have binged over and over again are Grey’s Anatomy and Gilmore Girls. I could watch those again and again and I do. I am almost always somewhere in the middle of watching both of these because I love having the tv or music going while I work. These are my top 2 fav shows of all time.

I am still mourning the loss of Derek Shepard…..sigh.

Anyways, those are old school and I feel like I could also give honorable mention to Parenthood, because I think everyone should also binge Parenthood and This is Us. The writing and story lines are brilliant and so relatable and I think everyone should add those to your list if you haven’t watched them.

I can’t decide if I want to be a Pearson or a Braverman….

Actually, Braverman. Freaking love these families!

But, I feel like those are all shows that get recommended so often to binge watch and for really good reason too. Today, I wanted to highlight a few shows I think don’t get recommended enough that I love!

A Million Little Things.

It is very similar to the shows mentioned above, it will pull at your heart strings and really feel real. I started watching it when I had COVID, I binged the first couple seasons and now, I cannot wait for it to be on. Such a good show and so relatable. I have gotten a few people hooked on it.

Virgin River.

A new season comes out tomorrow and I cannot freaking wait. This is a little more Hallmarky than the others mentioned but I loved it. Again, started when I had COVID and now I cannot wait for new seasons to be released. For a Netflix show, it is really well written and has a great storyline.

Inventing Anna.

Okay, this is only one season but it is so good and such a good watch in one weekend binge. It is written by Shonda Rhimes so you know the writing is phenomenal and it is based on the real life story of Anna Delvey. I turned this on to see what it was about and watched all season in one sitting. It is so good I have watched it twice because it is so fascinating to me. Highly recommend.

Okay last one because I could keep going, LOL.

This is another binge in one weekend. We watched this one snowy weekend in NJ and both Joe and I were obsessed. I really wish they would come out with another season but it is just one.

The Queens Gambit.

At first, I was like I won’t like this because who watched a show about chess but ya’ll, this is such an incredible story and hooks you right in from episode one. This is another one I have watched twice and had on the background when I worked.

Please tell me you like binge watching shows as much as I do? What do I need to add to my list? Leave me a comment below!
