Happy Monday friends!
It is quite the rainy day here in SW Florida and I have doing my best to stay motivated despite the fact that the cloudy skies and the rain drops are so soothing I could fall asleep right here at the counter of the store. I have a feeling the store is going to be super quiet today as the rain rolls through all day (we desperately need rain) so I am using it as a day to get a lot of computer work done for the blog and boutique.
I am not sure if I have mentioned it yet but we are currently building a house so I have all things home decor on my mind at all times. When we sold out house in New Jersey in 2021 and moved back to Florida the market was bonkers so we decided to rent for a few years until the market cooled down a bit. I am so happy we did but I would be lying if I said the last 4 years renting has been easy - between it not feeling like our home and it being so much smaller of a space than we actually need we are ready to be in our own home again and thankfully we will be this summer.
We aren’t bringing a ton from the rental into the new home as far as furniture and decor so I have been on the hunt to make design boards and wishlists. Anthropologie is always a go to of mine for pretty much everything — inspiration, clothing, home, gifts, etc and today I went on a bit of an online shopping wishlist spree and rounded up some current favorites!
I cannot wait to start really shopping for our new home - to save on time, energy and cost of moving we aren’t buying things now but my carts will definitely be waiting for me as soon as we move!
