Weekend Recap

You know it has been a Monday when I am writing a blog post at 6pm when typically, I have them up and ready to roll by early morning. The last week kicked my butt and was a great reminder that my health issues haven’t gone anywhere and when I push myself I end up not doing so great. Invisible battles are always the hardest to fight and my body (and mind) are feeling them today. Add on Paisley getting sick and needing to go to the urgent care and well, I have had a day!

Today, I need a little dose of happy so let’s recap the good stuff that happened this weekend…

Before the weekend got started, I got to cheer on this girls hard work in school! She has to study hard and put in a lot of effort, especially after 2 years of virtual school making her fall so behind and we were both over the moon that she made honor roll. I loved getting to be there to celebrate her big accomplishment.

It was the weekend of pop ups over here and the wind was not my friend, lol. I really try not to book more than 2 pop ups in a week but, its just how they all fell and I had 4 pop ups between Wednesday-Saturday of last week. 😜

Even though I am hurting from all the set up, tear down and hours and hours standing on concrete, I had the very best time and absolutely loved every minute! I even had my first ever in home pop up hosted by my friend Kristine. She invited some family and friends over and they had a private shopping party!

A fun new pink top always makes me happy! And we had a cold front come in so those sandals turned into sneakers and that cardigan was a must!

I saw this quote on IG this weekend and couldn’t love it more. Ladies, we need more of this energy in 2023!!!!

Last but not least, Savannah finishing her science fair project….I mean Joe and I really 😂

I am so freaking glad this massive project is behind us. We worked on it for weeks and then spent literally 7 hours on finishing it this weekend and I could not wait to send that board and report and log book and all the things into school today.

I may not survive having to do 2 of them next year.

Also, don’t you love the huge stain on my table from nail polish remover….have kids they say, it’ll be fun they say #sendhelp LOL….gel nails done by my 9 and 11 year old - 1, my kitchen table - 0.
