Vanilla Chai Protein Shake

Happy Monday friends!

I hope everyone had a great weekend! Joe and I spent the weekend celebrating 11 years of marriage by brunching, shopping and going to the Yankees game! It was a wonderful weekend spent mainly just the two of us and it was so nice to just have that time together. We picked up the kids yesterday from their Grandparents and it was back to the grind of getting ready for a busy week ahead.

Honest moment, we ate like crap this weekend. Well, actually we ate really really great but it was all crap for my body and as much as I avoid all my allergies triggers on my day to day, this weekend I threw caution to the wind and ate what I wanted. It felt great in the moment but now, I feel awful so 🤷🏻‍♀️ — sometimes it’s worth it even when you pay for it afterwards!

Anyways, as I was trying to get myself back on track this morning I went to make my protein shake and realized I haven’t shared with you guys a new one I have been making. I found out I am allergic/sensitive to chocolate so I haven’t been using my fav recipe that I shared a few months ago (my favorite chocolate protein shake HERE) and I got sick of the vanilla one I shared, HERE. A friend of mine who also suffers from quite a few food intolerances/allergies/sensitivities shared she was loving this protein powder from Truvani and it didn’t hurt her stomach so I decided to give it a try.

Linked HERE is the protein powder.

Linked HERE is the collagen I always add to my shakes.

I am going to share a reel today on Instagram but here is what I do…

Vanilla Chai Protein Shake //

  • 1 scoop protein powder

  • 1 scoop collagen

  • 1.5 frozen bananas

  • 2 cups almond milk

  • 1 tbsp of local honey (to help with my seasonal allergies)

  • dash of cinnamon (if desired)

Blend it up in a blender until it is your desired consistency and enjoy!

I love protein shakes because they are quick and easy to make but also fill me up too! If you grab the ingredients and make it, let me know! Or, if you have tried their other flavors, which should I grab next?
