Recipe: Strawberries & Cream
Something about the summer always puts me in the baking mood. Maybe because I have more white space on the calendar, maybe because we are home more and I have the time to do it or maybe, I just love summer foods and flavors so it makes me want to cook and bake more. Who knows but it never fails, you will find me making yummy meals and desserts all summer long for my family.
Usually I am looking to use my sourdough discard, bake a cake or try something new from my cookbooks but this summer I was scrolling Instagram and saw someone share strawberries and cream and I knew I had to try it. I had never made it before so I took to Pinterest to look up recipes and like I normally do, I combined a few a created my own!
I have made this twice so far this summer and both times it has been a huge hit with the family and they request I make it a again which means that it is a winner in my book! Bonus, it is so quick and easy to make that no matter if you do it on a weekend or weekday, it won’t add a lot of fuss but just a lot of yum to a regular ole day!
Okay, here we go, here is my recipe for summer strawberries and cream!
