Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Protein Balls

This past weekend I took some time to clean out our fridge and I am tackling the pantry tonight! As I cleaned out the fridge I knew that we needed some more snacks but I really wanted to stick with healthier options for my family that has a massive sweet tooth. I took to Pinterest and found a few variations of protein balls and combined a few together to come up with my own take on the recipe.

The girls and I enjoyed these today and they were delicious, we will definitely be making these over and over again! Want to make your own? My recipe is below, enjoy!

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Protein Balls //

Ingredients:

  • Rolled Oats

  • Peanut Butter

  • Maple Syrup or Honey

  • Mini Chocolate Chips

  • Cinnamon

  • Your favorite protein powder

  • Chia seeds or flax seeds (optional)

Instructions:

  • In a medium mixing bowl combine all of your ingredients and mix well.

  • I eyeball this entire recipe but you could do 1 cup rolled oats, 2 tbsp of syrup or honey, 2/3 cup peanut butter, 1/2 cup chocolate chips. 1 scoop of protein powder and 1/4 cup chia or flax seeds.

  • Once well combined, use a small ice cream scoop (or spoon) to roll into balls. Using the same size utensil will help them be the same size throughout your batch.

  • Once your batch is rolled, place in the refrigerator overnight and then enjoy! Keep in the refrigerator to store.
