MY FAV GLUTEN FREE SNACKS

Hi friends! Happy Wednesday!

Today, I wanted to share with you some of my favorite gluten free snacks. When I had to go gluten free in 2017 I will admit, I fudged it too often and still found myself in so much pain. Fast forward to 2020 and I was so sick (no COVID) and finally took the GF diet as series as I should have.

I have been tested for celiac, my blood work points towards it but my scope and biopsies were negative. It could be because I hadn’t had gluten in so long since I finally got a scope in 2021 but whatever it is, it is inconclusive and now, I avoid gluten like the plague. Because even if it isn’t celiac, it makes me feel like garbage and breaks me out in hives and gives me the worse inflammation and pain I have ever experienced.

Anyways, I know how hard it can be to find good GF snacks so I wanted to round up my favorites if you too are GF or maybe starting to go GF. This list isn’t inclusive of everything….I find random things at the grocery store, I love Thrive Market orders because they have a ton of GF stuff (I will do a round up soon), Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s also have good options but I know it can be hard to get to those stores. So, Amazon for the win, haha!

Here are my current fav GF snacks that you can easily grab on Amazon or your local grocer. And, don’t forget you can grab fruits/veggies other whole food that is naturally GF for a quick snack too.

  1. GoodMade Cookies - If you are looking for a sweet treat, this brand is really good. Sometimes, you just need a cookie and these are one of the better in my opinion.

  2. Fig Bars - Okay, I know this makes me look 70 years old, but these fig bars are legit. They come in a couple different flavors and are easy to throw in your bag for a quick snack in a pinch.

  3. Chomps Beef Sticks - These are hands down the best beef sticks in all the land. Thank me later.

  4. Snack Mix - These I originally found at Walmart and they have a few different flavors. They are really good. They aren’t dairy free so I don’t have them often since I also try to avoid dairy but when I am craving a snack mix and can have a little diary I grab these.

  5. Chickpea Puffs - These are yummy. Admittedly, I was a little hesitant to try these but they were a pleasant surprise and I would definitely keep buying them!

  6. LaraBars - Lemon is my favorite but they have a million flavors. I find that Amazon or Thrive has them cheapest. These lemon ones are really tart which I love because sometimes with GF options, you are lacking a variety of flavors and these are something different.

  7. That’s It Fruit Bars - Another great option are these fruit bars. I have also transitioned my kids to eating these instead of fruit snacks that are packed with a bunch of junk.

  8. Simple Mills Crackers - these are the best GF crackers hands down. I have tried them all, these are my absolute favorite even if they weren’t GF.

  9. Graham Crackers - I mean, it is summer, right? Don’t get left out of the s’mores making when you grab these! I squealed when I found these because I love a good s’mores.

  10. GF Oreos - Yep, Oreo made a GF one and it is so freaking good. I don’t get them often but sometimes, you need an oreo in your life and they knocked it out of the park.

Okay, like I mentioned above don’t forget about the healthy options that are naturally GF at the tip of your fingers. But, I recognize those are the easy things. When we need easy grab and go snacks or substitutes for something, that is when it gets a little trickier so hopefully these helped some.

If you are GF, what would you add to the list? Let us know below so we can try them out.
