Meal Plan Monday (8.13.24)

Happy Tuesday friends!

After a week away to end summer disconnected and with my kids I am happy to be back in the blog and social media world.

Yesterday was our first day of school, Savannah and Paisley are both now in middle school (8th and 6th grade) and Cam is in his final semester at college so we are definitely entering our busy season with school. Cheer also started last week after rain delayed the start thanks to Hurricane Debbie so between school, cheer and finding my work routine again, we are keeping meal planning as simple as can be!

One of my biggest meal planning tips when you are in a busy week or season is to maximize your cooking with bigger meals and leftovers. I usually do this with crockpot meals and casseroles or just simply doubling a recipe so we can get it 2 nights in a row. If I am being honest, leftovers aren’t a family favorite here but when we are busy and when we are trying to cut or ever growing grocery bill, leftovers are much needed and appreciated.

Here is our first week of school meal plan….

Here are some recipes we will be following this week…

Happy meal planning friends, I would love to know what you are making this week, leave me a comment below, I am always looking for new recipes to try!
