Meal Plan Monday (7.15.24)

Hi friends, happy Monday!

I am declaring today a GSD (get sh*t done) day at our house and we have all the laundry going, chores by the girls being done, groceries being ordered and all the things added to the calendar to get us organized as we enter the last month of summer break. Part of my GSD is meal planning and organizing the food we already have in the house so today, I am sharing my meal plan with you for the week.

We have a busy week ahead between a Disney trip (Joe has a meeting in Orlando so us girls are tagging along so we can have a family evening together at Disney), my pop up on Thursday and a boat day on Saturday. Trying to enjoy the last weeks of summer here friends, lol. Anyways, one of my biggest tips for meal planning is to look at the calendar — see what you have going on so you can make sure that you aren’t planning fussy meals on busy nights!

Friends, don’t forget to shop your fridge and pantry before meal planning and buying groceries! Use what you have and it will help you not only save money on groceries, but it will help you to reduce food waste as well (which also means you shouldn’t be afraid to have leftovers a couple times a week, sometimes the meals I make are too big for the 4 of us since Cam moved out so leftovers ensures we eat and don’t throw them away).
