Meal Plan Monday (11.11.24)
Hi friends, happy Tuesday!
I was starting to write this post and realized it was in fact Tuesday instead of Monday but we are pushing forward anyways pretending it is Monday because yesterday I was pretty much dead to the world. My boutique, Shop Rooted and Free participated in the Junior League of Tampa Holiday market over the last week (1 day of set up and 4 days of market) plus I squeezed in an out of town Justin Timberlake concert and well yesterday, I could barely even keep my eyes open enough to speak much less get my week and meals together.
After a great nap and a lot of rest yesterday plus a good nights sleep I am feeling so much better today and working to get my life back in order both at home and for my business (we have another market this weekend so back to prepping for that). Meal planning was #1 on my list and I realized that I had ordered Joe and the kids lots of extra easy meals that they didn’t end up using so we are going to work our way through that this week to save money on groceries since we already have it all.
I want to encourage you to make sure you use the groceries in your home, especially if you are in a season of saving money using what you have is essential. So this week, our meals are super simple and easy which is an added bonus since Joe will be traveling and we are headed to Disney this weekend!
While I know this isn’t a ground breaking meal plan (and one I almost didn’t share) I do hope that it encourages you to keep it simple in busy seasons and to use what you have already purchased! I promise, fed is best and sometimes those quick, easy meals are the best ones!
