Let’s Look: Favorite Podcasts

Happy Wednesday friends!

Today I am coming at ya with another link up and a peek at the little things in life with Shay and Erika for Let’s Look! This a fun little monthly link up where we take a “peek behind the curtain and share a little something random in our lives. It’s just fun and silly and I always walk away with a few tips and tricks from reading other peoples posts!

Gosh, I just love today’s post so much because I love a good podcast. I can’t remember when I started to listen to them but I have listed and loved so many over the years. Some that I used to listen to regularly are no longer around (I loved the Bestie Breakdown) and some were just for a season but regardless I feel like I have learned and grown so much from podcasts. I have also laughed, been drawn in to (looking at your crime cases) and been entertained by many as well.

Usually I listen to podcasts while I am prepping for pop ups or steaming/tagging clothes for my boutique, Shop Rooted and Free and sometimes, I will listen to them while I am getting ready in the morning. Sometimes, I listen when I am driving alone or waiting in carline and I love that it feels like reading a book. Does anyone else feel that way? The conversations remind me of reading so much.

Anyways, I feel like I am in a season of learning right now especially with podcasts so I thought today, I would share with you 3 of my favorite podcasts that I never miss right now and that are helping me grow as a wife, mom, business owner and most importantly just as a woman trying to create a life that I love. I am also going to share 2 podcasts that were recently recommended to me that I look forward to adding to my weekly listens.

Without further ado, let’s jump in…

Living Fully by Mallory Ervin - Mallory took a break for a while but since I didn’t listen when the older episodes first launched I went back to binge them. I love that she recently starting recording again and every episode for me has been just as amazing as the last. I love Mallory’s outlook on life, her mission to help women live fully and her overall positive outlook on life and encouragement for you to have the same. She is a fun follow on IG and her podcast is one I look forward to again and again.

The Rachel Hollis Podcast - Okay, I know she is in and out of being controversial but I really enjoy her content and always have. She is real, raw and super honest about the highs and lows and as a mom and business owner, it is easy to relate to her content and perspective. I love that she is no B.S. and that she tells you the things you may not want to her when it comes to leadership and personal development and just like her books, I enjoy her podcast very much.

Boutique Chat with Ashley Alderson - Okay, this one is very specific to entrepreneurs but I think that if you are a product based business of any kind, this podcast is a must listen to. I have listened to every single episode and have grown as a boutique owner from every single one of them. The information is easy to listen to, applicable and relatable as a business owner and this is one that I could listen to the same episode multiple times and learn every time.

Okay, those are my 3 must listens, now for the 2 new ones. I have had 2 friends recommend these podcasts and I am excited to listen. The first, Candace Cameron Bure - a wife, mom, business owner and Christian sharing her perspective on so many topics and I just know I will love this one since I am a big CCB fan. The second, was recommended as I continue to navigate my own health issues and work towards full body and mind wellness. I haven’t done a ton of research on this one since it was just recommended but just knowing it is about wellness, something I am very passionate about right now I think I will enjoy!

Okay whew, those are my podcast picks for now but of course, these could change too as I learn and grow more and enter into new seasons in the future. If you have podcasts similar that you think I would enjoy, please share I would love to know what you are listening to and loving!
