KUWK - Supplements

Happy Tuesday friends!

I hope everyone had a great long weekend and is ready to usher in September with new dreams, healthy habits and routines! As I started to think about what I wanted this fall to look like, I first and foremost realized that I have not been doing a great job of prioritizing my health again. I have mentioned this before but, when I get really busy the first thing to go is taking care of my health needs. I know this should be of top priority but for some reason, it is always first to be dropped and truthfully, I hate that.

So, as I was thinking of September and what feels like the turning of a chapter after Labor Day I reached for what I know makes me feel better…my Bible, working out and making sure I am taking my supplements.

When I started to see a Functional Medicine Doctor (and I am in the process of reestablishing with a new one here in Florida) he ran a ton of labs and put me on the following supplements. Obviously, you should 100% connect with your Physician before starting anything but, I wanted to share with you today what I have been taking and what has been helping me the last 18 months.

  1. Interfase - I take this after my meals to help me digest my food and break it down. My GI system is still not in the greatest place but it definitely is better since starting this supplement. I look forward to working with my new doctor on ways I can continue to improve my system and to make sure this is still what is best for me.

  2. Basic Nutrients - Basically, my multivitamin. It is good for all the things and I take this once daily.

  3. Sulfurzyme - Great for skin, hair and nails. My GI system has wrecked havoc my my skin so I take this daily with my Ningxia to help strength my hair and nails and support healthy skin. I have seen such a difference in my hair and nails especially when I consistently take this.

  4. HPA Adapt - This is my anxiety. I don’t take this everyday but I take it when I am feeling anxious and overwhelmed. I shared with my doctor how anxious I was feeling and he immediately gave me this.

  5. EFA’s - This was is from my esthetician, to help rehydrate my skin. And every time I go for my appointments she confirms that it is working its magic.

  6. Collagen - Beauty Boost in a bottle! We could all use this and if you google the benefits and the before/after you will probably start taking it too!

  7. Endoflex - Oil to support my thyroid. With all of my current health issues, my thyroid is crazy low so I use this every night, rubbed on my thyroid. It seems horrible but I can definitely tell when I don’t use it, I am sluggish is my first sign that I keep forgetting it.

  8. Progessence Plus - Another oil to support my hormones. I use this every night on my wrists to help support healthy hormones.

Again, I recommend speaking with your doctor if you wanted to try any of these but currently, this is what I am taking and using to naturally support my body. I have an appointment I am making with my new doctor and look forward to reevaluating my routine to see what my body needs right now!
