Friday Favs

Whew, we made it to Friday! Anyone else with me on thinking that this has been the longest week? It has truly kicked my butt ya’ll.

The tragedy in Nashville. Both of my girls got strep. Life has been crazy busy and a little overwhelming. And the week just kept dragging.

Sometimes I feel like a broken record lately because there has been so much sickness in our house and so life has felt a little stressful lately, but I know we all go through those seasons and while I don’t want to come across like a complainer, that is just the reality of life right now and I keep reminding myself that this too shall pass! If you are also in a season where you feel like you can’t come up for air, I feel you and pray that you feel God’s goodness and love through it all.

Even with the crazy, there were some good things that happened too, so let’s dive into those!

Here are my favs from the week…

As always, I’m linking up with Andrea and Erika and wishing you a wonderful weekend ahead!

I was starting my diffusers the other morning and noticed my plant is thriving! Ya’ll I can’t remember the last time I watered this plant but it is doing so well and I think it 100% has to do with the diffuser and it getting all the goodness it needs from the oils and mist. It made me smile this week multiple times.

Look at that growth and those vibrant leaves!

I have been meaning to write this post for a bit and finally did!

My fav tips and tricks for working moms but, I also think these can apply to SAHM moms too! Ya’ll mommin’ aint easy and if there is anything that I have learned in my 19 years of being a mom (most of those spent working)…this blog post captures it!

You can read that one HERE!

Yesterday was opening day and my Yanks won 5-0!!! It was such a fun afternoon sitting on my couch watching the game while I worked. I scared Savannah who was napping because of the first HR by Judge and my scream of excitement, oops! Lol.

I forgot living back in Florida now it isn’t as easy to just turn on the TV and get the Yankees game so I subscribed to the free trial of MLB.TV and I think I may keep it because I really enjoyed having the game on in the background while I worked.

Earlier this week Cam bought his first truck…his first big purchase! I don’t add him here a lot to the blog or social because at 19, he gets to decide how he shows up online, he doesn’t love being online and doesn’t love having his picture taken so I want to respect that but I did get special permission to add this today!

I am so proud of him for working hard, saving his money and working towards this goal. It is his dream truck and just so happened to arrive at the lot the day before we went looking. It was meant to be!

This weekend I have a pop up on Main Street and it is one of my favorite markets! It is about 10 minutes from home and continues to establish my brand in our community. Paisley’s birthday is Monday and since she has school and cheer we are celebrating on Sunday with mani/pedi’s and lunch!

I hope everyone has a great weekend! See you back here on Monday!
