HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS

Happy Tuesday friends!

Whew, this week has already been so crazy for us! It is the last week of school so you know that means all.the.things are happening right now and to be honest, I am struggling to keep up with everything!

Yesterday, Savannah had her 5th grade field day I volunteered at, tonight is 5th grade graduation and tomorrow, 5th grade field trip to Disney! It is a busy busy one but I also keep reminding myself that I prayed for the days that I could volunteer at all the things and not have to worry about clocking in. It feels like a lot but it is exactly what I wanted to be able to do so I am working on staying in the moment and doing the best I can while enjoying my baby graduating 5th grade and all the fun that comes with it!

Anyways, in addition to all the school stuff this week is also Savannah’s birthday (May 25th) so this weekend to celebrate we went to Disney! She requested Hollywood Studios which the girls have never been to before and we had a blast!

I just love spending the day exploring new places with these girls.

Mama’s of littles, one day it gets easier and way more fun to do stuff like this, I promise!

I can’t believe my sweet baby girl is turning 11 tomorrow!

If you know Savannah you know that she is the kindest girl in all the land, she loves people, loves being goofy and just really enjoys everything that she does! She is a gem this one!

She picked Star Wars as our theme which is comical because I have never seen any Star Wars (and have zero desire to lol) but we went with it and I found some shirts I could get behind even if I didn’t understand anything in the Star Wars part of the park haha

Disney has officially returned to “normal” in the sense that no masks are required anywhere and you can hug characters again. We didn’t really see many around Hollywood Studios and the ones with meet and greets were about 45-60 minute waits and the girls opted out of those. We are definitely in a new stage of Disney where we ride all the ride inside of spending time hugging princesses and trying to find Mickey and Minnie!

Waits for most rides were about 60 minutes so in line we ate snacks, played heads up and laughed our way through the waiting. If you go to Disney I highly recommend bringing snacks and games because the waits can make or break your trip…you have to make the fun!

Star Wars was incredible. I may not understand or know anything but I can appreciate what a great job they did with this area of the park. The girls loved it all. We ate lunch here and it was really good. I love that they had some GF options for me that were actually really good!

If you are GF you know the struggle!

We really enjoyed all of the rides we went on but here our the favs:

Paisley - Slinky Dog

Savannah - Rockin’ Rollercoaster (it was her first rollercoaster and she dragged her scared mama on it while Dad waited with Paisley who isn’t quite ready to do them yet)

Kate - Slinky Dog

Joe - Slinky Dog

Savannah loved Slinky Dog too and before the rollercoaster this was her fav too! We also all 4 enjoyed the Frozen Singalong. I thought they did such a great job with it and even though the girls are far outgrown of the Frozen stage, we loved it!

The sun was shining bright and it was a hot day but we had the best day together celebrating our girl! And she had the best day making most of the decisions!

We love you so much Savannah Grace, happiest birthday my love!
