FRIDAY FAVS (v.1)

We made it to Friday friends! Praise Jesus it is the weekend 🙌🏼 I have been battling a gluten attack and stomach bug all week so this week has felt like a doozy but I have tried to do what I can throughout the week with work and the kids but also rest too! Thankfully, no one else has caught it and everyday I feel a little better.

Anyways, today I am jumping back into joining Momfessionals and A Little Bit of Everything for their weekly Friday link up and talking about Friday Favorites! So, let’s jump in and get started!

First up, these girlies started cheer again after having December and January off! We are a couple weeks in and they are living being back on the mat and with their squad. I love that they are on the same team and I am soaking it in while it lasts since I know that soon, Savannah will need to move up to the next age group. We have 2 competitions this Spring and then we get ready for Fall! If you need us, we are likely at the cheer field, LOL.

Next up….I signed up for my first pop up shop for my boutique!!! OMG!

I feel nervous and excited and just all the emotions about our first time taking the boutique live for in person shopping. It is going to be really fun though I can’t wait to have the opportunity for women to come shop in person!

If you are local to the Sarasota area, the event is free for attendees, I would love to see you there!

New here? Friends, it has been an exciting month.

On January 31st I launched my online women’s boutique and it has been an amazing dream come true for me! If you aren’t local and want to check in you can visit us at Shop Rooted and Free!

Ya’ll Timehop on Facebook just about does me in sometimes. Usually I am swooning over pics of my babies but this time, pictures of our missions trip to El Salvador came up and my heart was just bursting.

In 2019 Joe and I along with a team of others from our church went to the village of La Joyita outside of San Salvador, El Salvador and it was the best week ever. We got to build a water well so that the village had clean drinking water and the week we spent with this community was just heaven on earth. I think a piece of me will always be in that village and it was a week that changed my faith, my heart and really opened my eyes to what matters most in this world. It is so easy to get caught in the American way of living, but the joy and love in this village as they worked as a community in everything they do just so deeply touched me and reminded me of what really matters, the people we love.

I can’t wait to do another trip one day and I would love to take Camren on the next one with us and then the girls when they are older. If you have ever had it on your heart to go on a missions trip, 10/10 recommend.

Last but not least, Young Living is having a huge sale this weekend and if you have been on the fence about ordering….now is a great time!

Some of my fav oils are 20% off, the desert mist diffuser is $30 and they just released a new bundle that is perfect to get started or gift to someone you love!

If you have been thinking about grabbing oils, I would love to help! You can visit my YL website here for the deals going on now until 2.28!

I hope everyone has a great weekend, looking forward to seeing you back on the blog next week!
