Happy Friday friends!

TodayI’m linking up with Andrea and Erika for Friday Favorites a weekly link up that is always my fav! I have planned to link up every week but ya know, life happens and other things come up so getting this up today feels extra fun!

Let’s dive into this weeks simple favs and please know I am wishing you a wonderful weekend ahead!

First up, a simple Valentines Day! I had set out to make the kids some cute little baskets but I couldn’t find anything that fit into the budget that wasn’t cheesy and would be thrown on the ground in 3 seconds, lol. So, I grabbed some candy and some cash and truthfully, all 3 of them were over the moon.

On Wednesday’s I have a weekly Bible Study I attend and since it was Valentine’s Day I decided to grab a coffee on my way and I loved this set up in our local coffee shop. A local florist set up a little flower bar and it was just the sweetest set up.

Our weekly new arrivals at Shop Rooted and Free were a fav this week! Workwear is a huge trend right now so I knew I wanted to bring it to the shop and I am just loving how the collection came together with elevated basics and styles you can not only wear to the office but well outside of the office too.

I saw these 2 quotes this week on Instagram this week and loved them both so much and had to share them and save them.

This week was my Grandma’s birthday and our 3rd one celebrating on earth here without her. The day is always a very emotionally charged one for us but we always end the day talking about how much we miss and writing her messages on balloons and sending them to heaven. He also grabbed cupcakes so we could celebrate her with joy and not just with tears.

And ya’ll, I know I shouldn’t send balloons to heaven because it is bad for the environment but, we randomly did it the first year after we lost her in a desperate attempt to help the kids process their grief on her birthday and it is a tradition that they now look forward to and cherish. It was Super Bowl Sunday so they wore their jersey’s she got them of her favorite team and made the most of a sad day.

I worked last night at a pop up and didn’t get home until about 11pm so this morning I am dragging!

I decided to work from the couch and watch my fav show while this one snuggles with me. A slow Friday where I can stay in sweats all morning and knock out some mindless work is my fav!

My Valentine’s outfit was a fav from the week. The jacket and dress are blog old, sold out Shop Rooted and Free, sneakers are golden goose (my fav ones) and headband is old from Anthro. It felt cute and festive but also super comfortable too.

Last but not least, I made whipped coffee this week and it was my favorite afternoon treat. I was craving sugar and caffeine and I have been grabbing one too many pieces of candy so I decided to make this instead and it was delicious!
