Happy Friday friends! It has been a whirlwind of a week as everyone here in Florida prepped for a major hurricane. While our area was spared, our coastal town (we are about 20 miles inland) has been destroyed by storm surge and the entire Gulf Coast of Florida is facing devastation especially in the big bend area.

While today’s post is more lighthearted, I don’t want to stat without acknowledging the impacts this storm has left on our town and state and I am praying big prayers as so many recover.

Today, in the spirit of trying to find a little normal after a stressful week, I’m linking up with Andrea and Erika for Friday Favorites a weekly link up that is always my fav!

First up, it is pop up season in Florida and I am excited to get back into the community and offer in person shopping opportunities for locals! Last week we were at the UTC Night Market and next week we are doing a pop up fundraiser with a local sports organization.

Speaking of our boutique, yesterday as the hurricane was rolling in we released our newest arrivals online! We are getting ready for gift giving season so over the next couple of weeks we are releasing lots of fun new accessories!

Yesterday, we launched cosmetic bags, reading glasses (so requested), new sunglasses and lots of new trucker hats! We have tons of fall transitional items online and new drinkware and bags we released a few weeks ago too! So many fun new goodies online and ready to shop!

We have spent lots of time on the cheer field with these cuties and we are so excited for competition season which is right around the corner. We love watching them do what they love and have fun with their friends. These girls put in so much every weekend on the sidelines cheering on the football teams and so much work all week long during practice!

This is Savannah’s last year in rec cheer and we are crossing our fingers she makes the high school team because she just loves this all so much. All the nights at the field in the busyness may not always be my favorite (it is exhausting mama’s, am I right?) but gosh the reality is I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Favorite cozy outfit thanks to Walmart. This tunic is so soft and cozy and only $12 in store! I found a few options online and changes are I will be adding every color to my closet because it is that good. The perfect work from home during a hurricane outfit.

Another favorite, the girls and I decorated for fall yesterday! We don’t go super crazy because we don’t have the space (gosh we can’t wait to move and decorate a ton again) but little fall touches make us all really happy!

Last but not least my very favorite thing of the week…my Yanks are AL East Champs!!!!

Our internet went out last night in the middle of the game and then we lost power so I didn’t know until this morning as I tried to stay off my phone to conserve the battery since we didn’t know when it would come back on but this was really fun and great news to wake up to this morning! Let’s go Bronx Bombers, can’t wait to watch you in post season!

Alright friends, that is all I have today! We are going to try and create a normal day around here as we think of and pray for our surrounding towns who have so much damage! Please be keeping Florida in your prayers!
