Friday Favorites

Happy Friday friends!

I don’t know about you but I a am ready for the weekend!! Bring on the sunshine, lazy mornings and fun! This weekend I am trying to talk the hubby into going to the beach since it is going to be so nice out but, lets see if I can convince him to join all the snowbirds and fight the traffic! 😂

Before the weekend gets started, let’s dive into another Friday favorites with Andrea and Erika.

First up, always a favorite of mine is when Shop Rooted and Free has new arrivals. I just love new arrivals so much and this little St Patty’s Day collection is my fav! I picked pieces that would be fun and festive for the day but also, would take you well beyond and into spring/summer. I have said it before but I don’t love buying pieces that you can only wear for one day so I always try to make our holiday collections festive but pieces you can wear again and again (with a side of themed accessories). 🥰

Speaking of clothing, I am so excited to be hosting my first clothing drive which will support a local domestic violence shelter. Through Gathered by R+F, I am hosting other local small businesses and we are coming together to collect gently used women’s and children’s clothing. My goal is to have one outreach per quarter where as small business owners we can give back to the community. I am super pumped for it!

If you are local and would like to be part of it, please let me know…I would love to have you join us!

A favorite today was this amazing memory popping up for me!

In 2019 I had the privilege of leading a missions trip with our church to El Salvador and it was literally one of the very best weeks of my life. If you have never been on a missions trip, I could not recommend it enough. It was life changing and the bonds I formed with the community and the team were unmatched.

A piece of my heart will always be in La Joyita and this memory was a definite favorite this week as I thought back on that incredible week.

Every Saturday or Sunday depending on our schedule we go look at the progress on our house. It is amazing to see how fast they are moving and how much it changes from week to week.

We are getting close to closing (April) and we are so excited and truthfully, ready for the process to be over, lol. If you have ever built a house I am sure you feel me on that one. It has been pretty smooth but its such a drawn out process that by the end, you are just ready to move and be done with it.

Last but not least, yesterday Paisley and I hung in the school parking lot doing homework while Savannah was in tutoring. It was her first time and we weren’t sure if it made sense to drive home and start homework only to turn back around 30-ish minutes later so we did some homework in the car and waited. This sweet view made my day and I loved that time with her.

Her favorite, those braids the substitute teacher did for her during recess.

My not so favorite, all the pollen on my car and the allergies coming with it! 🤪

Today, I am on Siesta Key for a pop up and then tonight I am grabbing take out on my way home and relaxing! I hope whatever you have planned tonight and this weekend fills your heart with joy and is filled with adventures!

Have a great weekend, see you back here next week friends!
