Easy Kale Chips
Last week I went to a friends house to work and we were breaking for lunch. She pulled out her air fryer and started making kale chips and immediately my brain was like “ehhhh, I don’t know”. 😂 This is mainly because I love chips and eating a salad as a chip didn’t really appeal to me if I am being totally honest. Lol.
Anyways, when they were done I decided to give them a try and ya’ll I could not stop eating them. I immediately stopped by the grocery store on my way and grabbed some kale so that I could make them at home. Like I said, I love chips and every afternoon I find myself trying to grab for the kids chips that I buy for their lunches (you know those little grab and go bags).
Give me a bag of spicy chips any day and I am a happy girl but, I have been trying to clean up my diet so I knew I wanted to recreate these since they gave me the crunch and spice I am craving come the afternoon.
Since I have been loving them so much and they are beyond simple to make, I thought I would share the quick and easy recipe I used.
Spicy Kale Chips //
Ingredients -
Kale
Spices of your choice (I used Tajin, Chili Powder and Red Pepper Flakes)
Oil of your choice (I used avocado)
Instructions -
In a mixing bowl add in the desired amount of kale
Drizzle with oil (I eye balled enough to make the spices stick but not enough to be greasy)
Sprinkle on your spices to your desired amount
