Disney on Budget: Mickey Ears

Shop the ears HERE

Recently we became Disney Passholders (for those unfamiliar, as a Florida resident we can become annual pass holders for a steal of a price, if we go 4 times throughout the year it pays for the cost if we were to buy daily tickets) and we are so excited to dig into the world of Disney. We live about 2 hours from Disney and have tons of friends with annual passes so we thought it would be fun to take advantage of everything Disney has to offer, schedule trips with friends and enjoy this luxury for a year or so.

One of the reasons that we were hesitant if I am being totally honest is the overall price of Disney. If you have ever been or even researched than you know that Disney is pricey and that cost is well beyond just getting through the gates. Between the food and the merchandise, the drinks and the stay if you aren’t local the costs add up very quickly. We ran the numbers a ton of times and decided that getting the passes were extra worth it knowing we get free parking and 10-20% off food and souvenirs too.

If you don’t live in Florida (or even if you do and you are looking for money saving tips) I thought a fun series on the blog would to be sure how we are doing Disney on a budget and saving money along the way.

Today, I thought I would kick it off with Disney Ears because if you have ever thought about going, you know matching ears is a must for many including the Rogers girls.

When you go to the park each set of ears is $34.99 and up depending on how blinged out the ears are. I honestly don’t think the price is bad but for us when you are buying for 3 of us (myself, Savannah and Paisley) but wanting fun shirts and different options for different parks well, that affordable price just became unaffordable and a little silly really quick.

So, like any other Mom in 2024, I thought surely Amazon has something that isn’t totally crap quality that we can get and save money! And ya’ll, I as so pleasantly surprised by not only the amount of options they had but the quality as well. We purchased a handful of different themes and we look forward to adding to our collection because friends, all the ears I found are around $10 each and you just really can’t beat that price.

I linked in my LTK and will continue to do so as we grab more, you can find the ones we have so far linked here.

If you are looking for a specific character you can easily search and find so many different options and the best part, if you get them and they aren’t the best quality you can return and try again!

We got tons of compliments on the ears all throughout the park, especially the Cars and Toy Story ones! If you are headed to Disney soon I highly recommend saving some money ahead of time and ordering on Amazon!
