Current Supplements (Young Living)

First, I want to start off with saying that I am not an expert here and obviously not a doctor so please please please take this blog post for exactly how it was intended…just me sharing my current supplement routine and the Young Living products that we use in it. I see a doctor regularly and came up with this plan, with my doctor and I highly suggest that you do the same thing. It is super important to know what your body needs and why it needs it before you start supplementing. One of the biggest mistakes I think people make is that they just start taking a bunch of supplements because other people are when they really don’t need them. Be sure that you take what you need and only a doctor can help you figure that out.

Whew, okay with that out of the way I say we dive in….

I shared before what my supplement routine was when I first started the blog and no surprise my routine and what my body needs has changed. Remember, our bodies are always changing especially as we get older so our needs will change too. This is totally normal and should be expected, right?

Currently, in addition to my thyroid medication I take the following supplements:

  • Probiotics (to support my gut health)

  • Collagen (for my hair, skin and nails that are on the struggle bus)

  • Vitamin D (I am super sufficient even being outside everyday so my body needs some help)

  • Essentialzyme (digestive enzyme to help my gut health)

  • Ningxia (superfood antioxidant drink that I drink in replacement of a multivitamin)

I take each of these everyday (well, Ningxia most days…I do forget sometimes especially right now as I am trying to drink a gallon of water a day, I forget to make another drink!) and I love that I can add them to my monthly loyalty order and not think about them because they arrive to my order each month. Plus, I am earning money back towards future purchases which helps to offset the cost every so often.

For me the key to remembering all of these supplements is to make sure I have them on hand and that I am organized. I have shared this before from Amazon but it is worth relinking because this pill box keep me so organized and it is so easy to travel with. Ya’ll if it isn’t easy I am probably not going to do it because I am going to think I don’t have time…if you are the same way do yourself a favor and order this!

As I continue to health journey and try to heal my body and correct my thyroid issues it is more important to me than ever to make sure I am using quality products that I can trust which is why I order from Young Living. Most things bought in store have tons of additives that I don’t need (or want) so for me, the extra price tag is worth it even if I can get something cheaper by running to a big box store.

If you have any questions on what testing I had done to know what to take, need encouragement or help with ordering, please send me an email I would love to help and cheer you on as you take on your own health journey.
