It’s the last week of summer around here and the first week of cheer which means we are go-go-go constantly. Gone are the days of a relaxed summer schedule and let me tell you, we are all feeling it around here. Anyone else?

As I was getting dressed today, I thought — welp, this is my mom uniform until further notice so, I thought why not share it with ya’ll today so here we are.

Today’s easy attire is a tennis skirt, baseball hat (because it is still pushing 100 here and we are headed to the cheer field later) and a tank. I tied a long sleeve around it because when I am inside I get chilly from the AC and I love having something easy I can put over my shoulders. I feel put together but ready to be outside and running to all the places with the girls. My reason for sharing? To remind you that you can look cute and comfy without it just being an old t-shirt and leggings.

Now, I have said it 100 times but I will say it again…I live for easy to style, functional outfits that I don’t have to fuss over. If it is going to require me to pull and fuss over it all day long I do not want to wear it. I work from home mostly, do events where I need functional style, run my kids around and just constantly am on that working mom train so I need easy but cute.

Truthfully, part of why I started my boutique is because I felt like there was a gap because I am not the only one who feels this way. I want to get dressed and be trendy and look put together and cute but….I need it to be easy and quick. And, I don’t want to show up to school wearing the same Target shirt every other mom has on.
