Here in the Florida the temperatures are already getting close to 100 degrees and that means we will be spending lots of time at the beach and pool to cool off! We love the water and if we have a free day you can bet that we are probably going to be hitting the beach for the day and if that doesn’t fit into the schedule we will squeeze in a pool trip every chance we get.

Over the years I have simplified what we bring with us. Part of it is that my kids are getting a little older and so we don’t need all of the toys and such but part of it is that I also realized that I don’t need to bring everything but the kitchen sink with me. LOL. I grabbed a list of everything I bring with us to the beach/pool and put it in one easy shopping list for you.

Pro Tip: Keep all of this stocked in your bags at all times (the things you can) and keep everything else together. I usually throw in my essentials bag all the little things and then put it in the towel bag for storage right next to the cooler. Then, when we are ready to leave we just grab towels and hit the road.

Beach Towel Bag - I love this bag but any large bag with holes will do, this way the sand doesn’t get trapped in.

Essentials Bag - This is wear I store all the sunscreen, kindle, wallet, etc. Just makes it quick to grab!

Foldable Visor - Easy and small to store/carry and cute to wear! This is a no brainer to protect your skin!

Kindle Paperwhite - I love reading at the beach and this is so much easier than dragging books all around!

Spray Sunscreen - Sunscreen for the body

Face Sunscreen - Sunscreen for the face

*Note, I also use Young Livings sunscreen making a spray and using it on my face for everyday use!

Waterproof/Bluetooth Speaker - Because, music is a necessity at the beach/pool

Insulated Water bottle - Any insulated water bottle will do but these don’t leak when we throw all 5 of ours in there so we love them

Splashswim Goggles - The best goggles especially for girls because they don’t pull their hair.

Beach Blanket - We bring chairs with us too but sometimes we all like sitting in the sand(ish, lol) so this works great.

Yeti Backpack Cooler - It is pricey but worth every single penny in my opinion

Cheap Sunglasses - I love my designer sunglasses but never bring them to the pool or beach because I don’t want them lost or scratched. Grabbing a cute pair of cheap sunglasses is the way to go here.

Favorite Coverup - I have a ton of bathing suit cover ups but I am always grabbing for this one again and again!
