5 Spring Trends I Am Loving
Hey hey ladies!
I just did some buying for Shop Rooted and Free and ya’ll I am loving so many things that I am finding right now. I am having to hold myself back from buying all.the.things for the boutique and this is always when I wish I had a store front that I could buy for! The reality is right now we are a small online/pop-up boutique and I don’t always having the buying power for all the things I want to get so I have to be even more picky about the stuff I choose!
I can’t wait for the days I can buy so much more but for now, I am enjoying the season we are in too! 😀
Anyways, as I was buying I couldn’t help but feel smitten over all of the spring trends so I thought today I would share with you 5 trends I am loving right now. If you haven’t tried any of these I encourage you to add something new to your closet this spring that is on-trend…classics are wonderful but adding something fun and new is wonderful too!
Trend #1 // Geometric Jewelry
Fun jewelry in different shapes, sizes and colors are all the rage and I am here for it. I am a big accessories girl and having jewelry that is “different” just really sets my soul on fire. I love how it is different but not too over the top and these earrings fit the bill!

Trend #2 // Button Down Shirts
Ya’ll this shirt sold out within 3 days at Shop Rooted and Free. I didn’t even have the chance to bring even one of these to a pop up, they sold online so fast. Lightweight button downs like this one are so popular right now in this transition between spring and summer and they also made perfect beach cover ups too!
Trend #3 // Braided Sandals
These were all the rage last year and they are back and more popular than ever! We also carry them in black at Shop Rooted and Free and you will likely see many other boutiques and big box stores carrying them too! They are comfortable, easy to pair with anything in your closet and the braided detail makes them a little more unique than a basic sandal wedge!
Trend #4 // Wide Leg Jeans
The weather is warming up but jeans are always going to be a staple for most year round. I am loving the wide leg jean trend for a more relaxed and causal look this spring and summer. Pairing with a tank, crop or button down is the perfect way to dress these up or down!
Trend #5 // Bright Colors and Patterns
I used to be so scared to wear bright bold colors and patterns. I would wear neutrals so often and one day, my friend called me out on it and I was like ugh yeah…why am I so afraid? I started incorporating colors and haven’t looked back (13 years ago). So, I am loving all the bold colors and patterns and you guys are too because this dress and other colorful ones are flying off the rack!
