WEEKEND HAPPIES

Hi friends, happy Monday!

I am back today after last week being filled with a stomach bug and gluten attack…and I have already gotten more done this morning than I did probably all of last week, LOL. No joke, moms should not get sick 😂

Anyways, I started to feel better on Saturday morning thankfully after literally not leaving my bed on Friday and despite not being 100% we had a great weekend. It was full of fun for the kids and their fun let me continue to rest so it was a win win and yesterday, something really special happened so, let’s get started with some weekend happies.

On Saturday, our nephew was here visiting from New York so we hit the road and drove down to my in laws to spend the day at the pool and having dinner together. It was so nice to spend time with family and be out in the sun with the gorgeous weather. I laid in the pool chairs relaxing and watching the kids spend some much needed time together!

Side note, I remember when they were little and seeing Moms just relaxing on the sidelines while the kids played and it felt so far off for us. I remember being so pruned my skin would fall off 😂 and now, they can’t be bothered with us.

The days are long but the years are short friends!

On Sunday it was a very special day for our family! 😍

Both Savannah and Paisley decided to get baptized and share their faith in a public way!

We are so proud of them for making this decision on their own and getting to witness them being baptized by a Pastor they love so much just warms my heart. It was the perfect Sunday watching our girls declare their faith in Jesus and be baptized.

After the girls got baptized we took them to lunch to celebrate and at lunch we decided it was too nice of a day to be at home doing chores and watching TV.

We came home, grabbed Oakley and went to the Palma Sola bridge which has a dog friendly beach where the bay meets the ocean. There aren’t any dog friendly beaches near us so this was the best option we had and while it wasn’t the beautiful blue water we get at the beach, it was a fun afternoon taking Oakley into the water. Joe got to fish, I got to read and the girls, they were living their best life!

When I think about all the transitions we have had the last 2 years and the decision we made to move back to Florida, these are the days that I envisioned. Swimming in February and enjoying family Sunday’s soaking in the fresh air and resting before the week ahead.

I have a busy week ahead as I catch up from being sick last week, prep for new arrivals on Thursday at the boutique and on Friday I turn 35!

I am praying that you too had a great weekend and that you have a great week ahead! If there is any way that I can be praying for you, please let me know friends….it would be my honor!
